Day to day, your body goes through a lot. It’s easy for us to get caught up in our everyday activities, and neglect the attention and care that our bodies need. I offer a style of gentle massage that helps you reconnect with each part of your body - all the way from your toes to your nose. This includes your back, legs, feet, arms, hands, abdomen, neck and face.
My style of massage involves a soothing, light touch that moves over your body, reminiscent of a mother’s touch, soft waves, or the kneading of a cat’s paws. I call this “Sazanami Massage.” In my language, sazanami means small waves or ripples.
A gentle massage is perfect for those who want to reconnect with their body, and take a moment to breathe and remember why it can be so enjoyable to feel physical touch. Connecting gently with your body provides a reminder that you are special and deserving of attention and care.
Have you ever had a massage that was too painful? In my practice, I choose to use a gentle approach because I understand what it feels like to have a sensitivity to touch. I personalize each experience through my intuition of you, your body, and your needs. I focus on cultivating the environment through sound, smell, and touch, such that all your senses can be relaxed and comfortably taken care of. If you like essential oils I can include lavender or bergamot.

Trauma-informed massage therapy is an approach to practice and not a massage technique. It’s built upon four principles: trauma awareness, safety and trust, collaborative choice and connection, and strength-based skill-building. Our RMTs have taken additional training in trauma informed care....
