Trauma-informed massage therapy isn’t a technique - it’s an approach rooted in four principles: trauma awareness, safety and trust, collaborative choice, and strength-based skill-building. While trauma-informed RMTs don’t treat trauma directly, they bring extra communication skills to help you feel more at ease.
