I'm a firm believer that communication, collaboration, and consent are crucial for success in the therapeutic process. I'm particularly fond of working slowly, using relaxation massage as the framework upon which I add more targeted therapeutic techniques. I enjoy working with a wide variety of bodies, backgrounds, genders, and neurotypes. If you are a fan of longer massages, please email the clinic to book 75, 90, or 120-minute appointments with me.
Massage style
While I am happy to provide lighter pressure treatments if desired, the pressure I generally use ranges from medium to deep. You can expect slow broad contact, sustained sinking pressure, prolonged passive stretches, and limb traction. I like to pick up, squeeze, knead and bow large muscle groups. My style has been described as “slow and melty”.” I often include both oil and non-oil based techniques. I aim to facilitate a quiet, comfortable space during the massage so that you can be present with your thoughts and sensations.
